Important Update: Flop Mobile Inc. to Phase Out 3G Network by November 17, 2024

We want to inform our valued customers that on November 17, 2024, Flop Mobile Inc. will officially shut down its 3G network. After this date, the 3G network will only be available for emergency calls when no other networks are accessible.

This decision follows the Floptropican Electronic and Postal Communications Authority’s mandate issued earlier this year, requiring the decommissioning of outdated 3G networks across the country.

What This Means for You

As we prepare for the end of the 3G era, it’s crucial that our customers take action to ensure uninterrupted service. After November 17, 2024, devices that rely on 3G will no longer be able to connect to the internet or make standard calls. Instead, they will need to connect to more advanced networks like 4G, 5G, 6G, and 7G.

If you currently use a 3G SIM card, you’ll need to upgrade to a newer SIM card or eSIM to continue enjoying our services. To make this transition easier, Flop Mobile is offering a free upgrade from August 13 to November 17, 2024. Simply visit any of our stores or authorized dealers to make the switch.

Emergency Calls on 3G

Even after the shutdown, our 3G network will remain available for emergency calls in situations where no other network is accessible. This ensures that you’ll always have a way to reach emergency services, even if your device is limited to 3G.

Who Is Affected?

Approximately 500 Flop Mobile customers will be impacted by the 3G network shutdown. We encourage all affected users to upgrade their SIM cards as soon as possible to avoid service disruptions.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support as we transition to a faster, more reliable network experience.
